I think many people will met a problem,that is the led light led die.Means that the led light can't light up and doesn't work.This problem usually happen on 5050 led light.now let's analyze the 3 reasons why the led light would die and what solution for that.
a.High Temperature damage.
The led light heat-resistant is not very good,So if not control well the soldering temperature and soldering time during the process of production,the led chip will damage because of the ultra-temperature.
So we must strict control the reflow soldering and soldering iron temperature.Make specialist management.Soldering pen installed temperature control, which can prevent the solder iron temperature to burn out the LED chip.
b.Electrostatic burn out.
LED is a kind of static-sensitive device. If not do well in electrostatic protection, it also will burn out the led chip,so we must enhance electrostatic protection .the workers must wear anti-static glove,all production Tools and equipment must be grounded lead.
c.Moisture Burst in the high temperature
led encapsulation will get wet if expose in the air for a long time. so if not make SMT before use, when the led strip on reflow soldering,it will because its high temperature lead to the moisture heating expansion, then burst , which cause the led chip damage by the high temperature.
Solution:led chip must storage in the environment that constant temperature and humidity, the not used up led chip must place into the 80 ° of oven bake for 6 ~ 8 hours in the SMT process before you use http://them.In this way , can ensure the use of leds would not moisture.
Heat sink is for cooling the led light.Normally we can use led aluminum profile for cooling the led light.

It's important to consider the IP rating of lamps in outdoor or damp locations to ensure they will function properly and last longer.
IP20/33 = No waterproof. This fit for using indoor.
IP55 = Water resistant. This is silicon glue drop in one side of the led light http://light.It is also using indoor.
IP65 = Water resistant plus.This can protect the led strip light from raining.
IP67 = Waterproof “Protected against the events of permanent submersion up to 3 meters” This can using in the waterproof,But not long time
The color temperature(CCT) of a light source is the temperature of an ideal black-body radiator that radiates light of a color comparable to that of the light source.That is important for us and customer.Normally we need to ask what color temperature they want. We have CCT from 2100k,2400k,2700k,3000k,3500k,4000k,4500k,5500k,6500k,7500k,10,000k.
Choosing the correct CCT for project is very important. Normally 2100k-3000K is warm white,this feel warm.4000-5500K is nature white,this let people feel nature and this widely using in office lighting.6000-7000k is cool white,this let people feel cool,normally using in some pearls and jewels lighting.
Watt is the measurement of power. In led lighting,it is the total power of led strip light or driver. For example,4.8w/m led strip light. 60w power supply.
CRI/RA is color rendering index,It is the measurement of the item color look under the light source when compared with sunlight.Lightstec now offer CRI>80 led strip light, CRI>90 led strip light. And some of our high level projects are using CRI>95.
